The Feudo Montoni Nero d'Avola Lagnusa Sicilia DOC is an elegant and expressive red wine sourced from a single vineyard in Sicily's Cammarata region. The term "Lagnusa," meaning "lazy" in Sicilian, reflects the vineyard's low-yielding vines, which contribute to the wine's concentrated flavors. In the glass, it presents a deep ruby hue and offers a complex bouquet featuring notes of cherries in spirit, red plum, blackberry, and warm spices like cinnamon and clove, all harmoniously intertwined. Hints of menthol add a refreshing dimension to the aroma. On the palate, the wine is soft and velvety, with a balanced acidity and delicate tannins, culminating in a savory and persistent finish.
