$4,154.99
Domaine Faiveley, established in 1825 in Nuits-Saint-Georges, Burgundy, is a family-run winery now led by the seventh generation, Erwan and Eve Faiveley. With 331 acres of vineyards, including 30 acres of grand crus and 67 acres of premier crus, the domaine is one of Burgundy's largest vineyard owners. Committed to sustainable practices, Domaine Faiveley obtained High Environmental Value (HVE) certification in 2019 and began converting to organic farming in 2022. Their wines, reflecting the diverse terroirs of Burgundy, are renowned for their purity and longevity. Domaine Faiveley 2022 Musigny Grand Cru – French Pinot Noir, aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, the wine exhibits remarkable concentration, with chocolate aromas mingling with fresh nuances of licorice and herbs stemming from the whole harvest. The finish has fine weight and depth, although it will require a decade to integrate the new oak fully. Given its exceptional quality and limited production, the 2022 Musigny Grand Cru is a collector's gem, poised to evolve beautifully over the next two decades. |
