The Domaine Faiveley 2022 Mercurey Blanc is a refined Chardonnay from Burgundy's Côte Chalonnaise, offering a harmonious blend of fruit and floral aromas. On the nose, it presents notes of green apple, white peach, and citrus zest, complemented by subtle floral hints and a touch of toasted almond. The palate is medium-bodied and well-balanced, featuring crisp acidity that enlivens flavors of orchard fruits, lemon curd, and a delicate honeyed minerality. A clean, refreshing finish with a hint of salinity adds depth and complexity. This wine is approachable now and has the potential to develop further with short-term cellaring over the next 3–5 years.
