The Domaine Faiveley 2022 Gevrey Chambertin Vielles Vignes 1.5L magnum, offers a classic expression of old-vine Pinot Noir from one of Burgundy’s most renowned villages.  On the nose, it reveals layered aromas of ripe black cherry, raspberry compote, forest floor, and subtle spice.  The palate is concentrated yet refined, with silky tannins supporting a core of dark red fruit, earth, and a touch of savory minerality.  Balanced acidity lends freshness, while the finish is long and elegant, hinting at the wine’s aging potential.  A structured yet approachable vintage, it showcases both the power and finesse of old vines in Gevrey-Chambertin.
